This month I want to introduce you to our newest FCF missionary. This young man is exceptional, and his dedication and passion for the kingdom is contagious. Bob and I have known Terrance Cummins (T.J.) for the past seven years. T.J. has traveled with us overseas and served in an internship with FCF. Now he is returning to Ireland to work fulltime with one of our FCF ministers.
The mantle on FCF is to connect relationally with the leaders and ministries of today and tomorrow, equip them to achieve the vision God has given, and empower them to walk in their divine destiny. It’s exciting when we see God raise up the next generation of leaders at FCF. I once heard a man of God say that success is not successful unless it is successive. Doesn’t it encourage your heart to see how God is always pressing forward into the future!
T.J. was raised in northwest New Jersey. He came to Christ as a young adult in high school. Early in his journey of faith, T.J. recognized the call of God on his life. He completed a one-year internship program at Christian Faith Fellowship Church (CFFC), his home church, where he served in all the major ministry departments. He also spent six months in Cork, Ireland, as a ministry intern and has continued to prepare for his calling through Global University.
For the past three years, T.J. has served on staff with CFFC working with the youth, media production, and as the Assistant Children’s Minister. He has also remained active in global missions, traveling to several countries. Not long ago Bob and I took T.J. with us to Ukraine on a short-term missions trip. He desires to reach the lost in the nations and to make disciples of the found. We consider him one of God’s “young lions” that He is raising up in these last days.
This month T.J. returns to Ireland on a more permanent assignment. He will work with Pastor Barry Cunningham and New Life Church in Cork, serving in several capacities and reaching into other nations in Europe and beyond. I encourage anyone who desires to invest in the future of the Kingdom of God to consider this young man who is completely dedicated to God’s purpose and has a great love for people.
T.J. is just one of the many FCF missionaries who are faithfully serving the kingdom of God. When was the last time you visited the FCF website and became acquainted with our missionaries and global leadership? As you pray for and connect with them, you might have an encouraging word to share that will invigorate them to press forward so that God’s kingdom reaps the fruit of your shared love for the King and His commission to “Go and Tell.”
Thank you for all the prayers, support and encouragement!
