November Partner Report PDF Print E-mail

Dear FCF Partners,

During October, my wife Gail and I spent four weeks in Europe traveling and ministering.

In Sicily, Italy, Gail met with a new FCF pastor. A single woman and a native of Venezuela, Sharlin Decorato was sent to Italy several years ago to plant a church in obedience to God. Without the support of her denomination, and facing adversity from the religious community in Italy, she has persevered and built a solid full Gospel church. She heard about FCF through a friend in Venezuela and connected with the FCF family in England where she was ordained in October. I appreciate the wonderful diversity we have in our family and the inclusion of different ethnicities, genders, and generations.

While Gail was in Italy, I traveled to Poland, Norway and Germany, speaking to FCF ministers and making new contacts. I was even interviewed for a Christian television station in Oslo, Norway, which reaches all of Scandinavia and beyond. The host asked me about the vision of FCF International, which I gladly explained. I’m expecting new doors to open for us there.

Gail and I came together in England for the FCF European Conference. This was a tremendous meeting, one of the most powerful I’ve attended. We had an excellent blend of fellowship and inspiration, Word and Holy Spirit.

Also in October, our FCF family in Canada held their annual conference. The President and Director of FCF Canada, Bill Annis, reported that it was their best annual meeting ever. You can listen to messages from the conference by clicking here. http://www.fcfcanada.ca/familychurchconference.php

At the end of October, I flew to Jamaica for our annual FCF ministers’ conference in this island nation. I visited the first FCF church started outside the U.S. almost thirty years ago. The congregation remains strong and growing under the capable leadership of Errol and Peggy James. It is a blessing to see the “reach the world” mandate of FCF working through the Jamaican churches, which are reaching out to other nations of the Caribbean.

On November 20, I travel to Hermosillo, Mexico, for a three-day Mission Conference at a church of more than 3,000 people. I see this as a great opportunity to mobilize many to take the Gospel to their own nation, Hispanic America, and the world. As always, I greatly appreciate your prayers for safe travel, physical health, spiritual anointing, favor, and great fruit for the Kingdom of God.

As you can imagine, with all the travel I have done, all the people we have sent, and all the meetings we have sponsored, there are many personal and profound testimonies of the touch of God upon people’s lives. I wish every story could be captured and retold so that you could rejoice with every one of them. At the end of this partner letter, you’ll find just part of a testimony from one USA minister who attended the FCF European Ministers’ meeting and then was supernaturally led to minister in Poland.

Please be assured that your participation with FCF International in our mandate to reach the world for Jesus is appreciated and makes a difference. We absolutely could not do all that we do without you.

On behalf of the multitudes who benefit, THANK YOU.

International Director

Testimony

Rev. Hartlen Coats has been a part of the FCF family since 1980 and a credentialed minister with FCF since 1999. In October, he traveled to England to participate in our European ministers’ meeting. During the Wednesday evening service, the Lord spoke to Hartlen, “Take the rest of your money and buy a plane ticket and go minister.” Since the Lord had provided extra money for his trip to England, Hartlen could obey, but where was he supposed to minister? The Lord worked it all out and sent Hartlen to Poland to minister with our newly credentialed Polish pastor Maksymilian (Max) Pyra.

At one local Polish church on a Saturday morning, Hartlen ministered to their youth group. The youth pastor was so excited about the message because it confirmed some of the same things he had been encouraging the youth in.

That afternoon Hartlen, the pastor, and the interpreter drove to an old farmhouse located an hour away from town. This was a home group that hadn’t met in a long time, so only the family and a few friends were present. This family had been unable to get to church in town because their car wasn’t drivable. The family was so touched by the ministry that the next morning they rode a bus for two hours to get to the Sunday worship service.

At the first service on Sunday in Szczecin, a woman accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior.  That afternoon at a service located outside the small town of Gozdowice, a man received healing in his back. He had been in pain and unable to work. Then his wife stepped forward for prayer. She had not been able to lift her arm above her shoulder. After prayer, she could lift her arm straight up in the air without any pain. Another man received healing for pain in his hip and thigh.

At another service in Gorzow, people were healed of back pain, a man rededicated his life to the Lord, and two people received emotional healing. By the Spirit of God, Hartlen told one woman, “God sent me all the way from the United States just to pray for you. He loves you that much!”

God loves people so much that He will work out all the details and make whatever arrangements are necessary just to prove the depth of His love and mercy.
