October Missions Report PDF Print E-mail

Dearest Partner,

I’m writing to you from Germany in a rare moment of reprieve from ministry and travel. Gail and I started out for Europe together on September 24. We landed in London where she proceeded onto Sicily and Italy and I went to Poland and Norway. At each place we have walked through doors that represent new opportunities for FCF International and have great potential for future ministry.

Let me share some good reports from our recent activities together as partners.

AFRICA

We sent Pastor Garfield Deans from Jamaica to minister in several African nations. He wrote the following about his time in the nation of Zimbabwe:

“I spoke in many other meetings in Zimbabwe to include pastors/leaders meetings, other church services and even a ladies meeting. We did not leave the people of Zimbabwe the same way we found them. There is a new enthusiasm about the things of God.”

Pastor Deans adds, “The idea of the pastors/leaders conferences in Africa is a good thing as there are many untrained leaders in Africa. The work continues to grow and with good consistent leadership it will only be a matter of time before there is an explosion of the things of God in Africa.”

SOUTH PACIFIC

Another report comes from our FCF Representative in the South Pacific where we are reaching unreached peoples in the island nation of Vanuatu through our monthly support.

“Our focus in Vanuatu now is to complete reaching all our highlands people, unreached tribal group. Last year 2008 we made a survey and discovered 20 villages up in the mountains that have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. Out of those 20 villages, we have already planted new 10 churches within the period of two years. So we still penetrating into those villages with the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Think about the impact you are having on people who have never heard the Gospel. You are partners in reaching these previously unreached people and planting ten new churches among them! WOW!

HUNGARY and SERBIA

Finally, let’s hear from Eva and Estvan Nagy, apostles in our FCF family who have planted eleven churches in Hungary and two in Serbia. This past year they have been using the ISOM Bible curriculum that we purchased for them. They write, “We thank God for your precious service and your love concerning for us. I would like to thank you for the Bible school in the name of our church. In Budapest on November 30, 2008, fourteen persons got their diploma. On August 3, 2009, in Szeged twelve Bible students graduated. It was 2 years with 160 teaching. So 26 persons took the exam and got their diplomas. Praise God!”

The Nagy’s also reported that eight persons in the Serbian church are registered for the school now. In addition, FCF Int’l and our partners sowed several thousand dollars for a sound system and humanitarian aid for the poor in the Serbian churches earlier this year. Great job!

I am so pleased to pass along these good reports to you. Please rejoice with me in the impact that we are making together. We truly thank God for you and your faithful participation in these good works.

You are blessed!
