Obstacles or Opportunities? PDF Print E-mail

Doing a lot with a little is a particular virtue that I admire. It seems as if many in our FCF family have been faced with this challenge in 2009. Obstacles are really opportunities for us to draw on God’s Spirit for ingenuity, innovation, and improvisation. We don’t have to allow hard times to paralyze us or cause us to back away from what we are called by God to accomplish. I am delighted to report to you that in 2009 FCF International accomplished more with less than in previous years. We measure our progress and success next to the strategy the Lord has given to us. Together we did a lot.

Our Mission Campaign Goal for 2009 was $250.000

Our strategy was to:

Continue our monthly support of several front-line ministries who are reaching the unreached peoples.

Send FCF ministers to do Ministers, Meetings.

Finance specific projects initiated by FCF International.

Sponsor Ministers’ Meetings in countries and regions where FCF ministers are gathered.

What we did together:

We sponsored more than twenty Ministers’ Meetings in as many countries

We sent more than thirty FCF Ministers to speak at these meetings and serve.

We were faithful in our monthly commitments, never missing one.

We were able to complete two of the five projects that were presented, and we made significant progress on a third.

Last year we received $151,393 into our General Missions Account. You can easily see that we did, in fact, accomplish a lot with a little.

An additional $277,378 came in, designated for specific missionaries and their ministry projects.

Those of you who are financial partners with us in world missions receive a monthly report (also posted on the FCF website), which relates the victories and successes of our campaign. The International Staff and multiplied thousands around the world thank God for your generosity and faithfulness.

Let’s raise the bar and make a greater impact in 2010.

Our campaign goal for the coming year is $300,000.

Our strategy this year reflects the unique DNA of our family.

Start people

Your participation will help us to complete the development and delivery of the online Bible school, provide opportunities and scholarships for ministry internships; and sponsor new church plants.

Send people

Your financial gifts will help us to send ministers to Bible Schools, churches, and Leadership Summits to equip those who are preparing for ministry and those who are already in ministry. They will also help us to coordinate and send short-term teams for cross-cultural ministry.

Sustain people

Your partnership allows us to sponsor Leadership Summits for national workers, produce new ministry resources for churches and ministers, and nurture the covenant relationships within the FCF family.
