2008-2009 FCF Missions Campaign

Space ShuttleThe Impossible?

With God All Things Are Possible

Dear Family,

Fifty years ago space travel and moon walking were inconceivable – impossible. Today trekking in outer space is common; it’s been conquered. Two thousand years after the resurrection of Christ there remain millions who have not heard this wonderful news. Reaching them is possible, and it’s our number one priority.

I am pleased to report that last year’s Missions Campaign was successful. Together we accomplished more than we set out to complete, thanks to every individual and church that made a Faith Promise and fulfilled it with the Lord’s help. God is faithful and so are you!

Many new Missions Partners have joined us from different churches around the nation and the world. Every Partner makes a difference as we carry out our strategy for reaching the world for Jesus Christ. Our hope is that every FCF family member will participate in this campaign.

FCF International is now influencing 46 nations. Four new countries have opened to us this past year. Each one represents new opportunities. To seize these opportunities we are increasing our budget by 20 percent. We have several new projects to present to you. We are also allocating more dollars to help send qualified individuals as representatives of FCF International to minister to ministers. There are also more Ministers’ Meetings planned for the coming year.

The entire staff of FCF International prays and stands with each of our partners that, through the exercise of your faith, you will be faithful to your commitments. Be encouraged and challenged to raise the bar of your faith with us. There has never been a more opportune moment in the history of the world to preach the Gospel to every creature. Thanks for being a part.

Together We Win!

AstronautThe Accomplished!

FCF has a presence in 46 countries.

The following is a report of some of the things we accomplished with our 2007-2008 Missions Campaign.

• Enock Sitima and Bible Life Church celebrated their twenty-year anniversary. We helped with the construction of the
largest church facility in the nation by sending a significant seed.

• Pat Harrison was the keynote speaker, and ministers from across the nation attended the annual FCF Family Conference. FCF Canada represents 30+ churches and more than 75 ministers.

• Our partner ministry saw a door open to the unreached people of Imaen village on Tanna Island. We send monthly support to Pastor Raynold Bori and CMC. In 2007  we contributed to the completion of a boat restoration that serves
as a ministry tool for this island nation.

• We sent Ron Bruce to speak to ministers in Assam state at the second FCF Ministers Meeting hosted by Pastor Balie Kirha. FCF sends monthly support to Balie, the church, and Bible school.

• Mike and Laura Young meet regularly with pastors throughout the country and are building an FCF network of people
helping people.

• In Ankara City, Ali Pektas pastors a church in this Muslim nation where less than .5 of its 75 million people are born-again.

• Ministry teams from churches in Switzerland and Germany assisted Pastor Eva and Istavan Nagy with an outreach in Slovakia. We helped purchase curriculum for a new Bible school in Budapest where Pastor Nagy has a church.

• We helped Pastor Scott Ross to train ministers in Ghana, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Guatemala City.

• We paid off the deed for the land and church building in Claremont.

  • • We purchased a vehicle for missionary Andy Weaver who ministers in the prisons of central Mexico.

  • • We sent Pastor Jim McGaffin to be the keynote speaker at our ministers’ meeting in Benin City. More than 300 ministers attended.

  • • We sent relief to earthquake victims and established a new partnership with Pastor Omar Oscanoa in Tarma. In thesummer of 2008 we will sponsor our first meeting for 100 ministers.

SatelliteThe Possibilities

Here’s what you can do…

Prayer

Initiate a deliberate and consistent plan to pray for people around the world: for laborers and lands that are still unreached with the Gospel. Many prayer tools are available. Let us help you find what works best for you.

Care

Adopt a missionary, indigenous worker or church, or Unreached People Group. There are many practical ways you can add value by care giving. We can share some simple, useful ideas for connecting with others who are serving around the world.

Going There

Become a sent one. There are opportunities to participate in one of our ministers’ meetings or minister to the FCF family in another land. You can also connect with a short-term mission trip. If your interest is an extended trip, we can help find an internship position and prepare you to go.

Missions Conference

Make missions a priority in your church by scheduling special meetings that emphasize reaching the world for Jesus. These become opportunities to educate and motivate believers to have a world focus. We have a workbook designed to help you construct a conference and to walk you through the process.

Giving

Every church ought to have a goal for giving specifically to world missions, and an avenue by which people can contribute regularly. Every Christian should be challenged to trust God for money to invest in reaping the harvest of the world. FCF International has a definite plan for world outreach as an organization. Our goal is that every credentialed minister and affiliate and associate church become a partner with us in this Mission Campaign.
