Oretha Rooker Hagin, wife of the late internationally known preacher, teacher, and author Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin, died Thursday, June 28, 2007, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 88 years old. Mrs. Hagin was born on November 2, 1918, in rural Collin County, Texas, the daughter of Elbert Harvey Rooker and Savannah Elizabeth McCormick Rooker.

She married Kenneth E. Hagin, her husband of 64 years, on November 25, 1938. Known as "Mom" to many people she ministered to over the years, Mrs. Hagin faithfully served at her husband's side for more than six decades, traveling with him as well as raising their children. Rev. Hagin died on September 19, 2003.

Oretha Hagin is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth W. and Lynette Hagin; her daughter, Pat Harrison; fi ve grandchildren: Candas and husband Alan Jackson, Cookie and husband Fred Brothers, Damon Harrison, Craig and wife Mia Hagin, and Denise and husband Don Burns; and nine great-grandchildren: Daniel Jackson, Amanda Jackson, J.D. Brothers, Whitney Brothers, Cameron Hagin, Blake Hagin, Skylar Hagin, Trevor Burns, and Wesley Burns.Oretha Hagin was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin; her father, Elbert Harvey Rooker; her mother, Savannah Elizabeth McCormick Rooker; her brother, Guy Rooker; her sister-in-law, Flora Rooker; and her sonin- law, Doyle "Buddy" Harrison.
